The sky should look like the Caribbean
There are many reasons to collect feminised marijuana seeds. But at the Kannabia Seed Company we know many scouts of the perfect indica seed, one which is capable of producing the most relaxing marijuana that’s ever existed. We could mention many strains familiar to us all, but we’re here to discuss the wondrous Karibbean Mango, one of the most heavenly, expansive, aromatic and powerful varieties we know of.
Its background explains a lot. To its genetics are added the virtues of a dazzling Black Domina (with its powerful indica effect and green robustness) and an incredibly tasty and tranquil Mango Skunk (conjuring up fruits from another world). In fact, the plant has the potential to grow so tall that the buds seem more like fruits than flowers. Who’s never wanted a tropical fruit tree?
We managed to attain third prize for Best Indica at the 2013 Axarquia cannabis Cup with this seed developed at our work bench, but winning prizes was not the focus. What we wanted was to turn a Caribbean dream – in which the productivity, flavour and soothing effect are unique and unforgettable – into reality. We think we’ve accomplished it!
How to: Karibbean Mango
The Afghan side of Karibbean Mango’s genetics makes it grow robustly, with a short leafy internodal distance, like a gigantic bush whose buds seem to be light but aren’t really. It’s easy to grow, but we recommend that you always have fertiliser on hand because the Black Domina leaves that grow in a big way are hungrier than a teenager at tea-time.
It’s all-terrain, adaptable both indoors and outdoors, resistant to pests and fungi. Indoors, pay attention to the central point, which is where the best of the yield will be concentrated. It has a very stable flowering period of between 60 and 65 days, and can produce 500 grams per square metre if you care for it optimally.
Outdoors, the sky’s the limit. It has a very slight proportion of sativa genetics (barely 10%), but if it’s noticeable for one thing, it’s the height it can reach – around three metres. You’ll see that it also expands greatly, with huge leaves that facilitate its production if you feed it well and have a good eye to ensure that it doesn’t receive too much sun. At the end of September, 600 grams per plant of tight fruity buds are harvested with little fuss.
Taste and effect of Karibbean Mango
It’ll be difficult for you to believe us without sampling it yourself but Karibbean Mango has one of the most delicious flavours we’ve ever tasted. There’s tropical fruit in the sweet ripe mango (super sweet), but the Black Domina adds an invigorating touch of tanginess to the palate.
With 90% indica genetics and a THC level of 18%, the effect of this marijuana plant is eminently relaxing. It’s the Caribbean delight with which to say goodbye to a difficult day’s work or intense emotions in order to get the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had in your life. It’s not numbing – there are some who tap into its creative benefits – but, principally, it will lead you to a restful sleep.
