It is called Kuban Sativa, after the Russian region where it was born. It feels welcomed in a Mediterranean climate by two distant relatives, the Northern Lights and the AK-47, to teach it how to grow in other places and to focus all of its potential. From this titanic mixture arises our Russian Doll, a powerful plant destined to satisfy friends of intense experiences.
This is not your run-of-the-mill seed. How to: Russian Doll
This marijuana plant is resistant to pests. It is almost the pests that fear her. By itself, the Kuban would not be so attractive, but the AK47 adds the motivating sativa point and the Northern Lights injects it with the ability to generate top quality resin. It is a very robust, impenetrable specimen, with a central bud worthy of being photographed. Additionally, the secondary buds are of considerable size.
When it flowers, you will see that the leaves are also large and dark, giving the appearance of indica, but it is clearly sativa dominant. Indoors, it is worth using a SCROG, a SOG or fluxing because otherwise it can get taller than desired for a healthy growth, and also optimize production. It has a flowering period of between 58 and 63 days, although some testimonials cite that it is better to leave a few days more. Estimated yield is about 450 grams per square meter in good conditions.
It is quite another thing to plant Russian Doll outdoors. We are talking about a harvest of 700 grams per plant, no less, in late September or early October. And that’s for a plant that is not over 1 meter 80 centimeters tall. We recommend apical pruning to make growth more homogeneous. Leaves, stems, buds, everything is thick, pure vigor.
Flavor and Effect of the Russian Doll
This feminized cannabis seed produces a really deep sativa effect, with an immediate first high and a long-lasting enthusiasm. It has a THC level of 21% and a proportion of 60% sativa and 40% indica, so the mental and bodily sensations are very balanced.
